Profile

Ron Goldman is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate and the senior trial attorney of Baum, Hedlund, Aristei & Goldman. He is also a pilot and the head of the firm's aviation disaster team. Ron taught for 21 years at Pepperdine School of Law as an adjunct Law Professor, where he wrote and taught the course on Aviation Accident Law. He also taught courses in Torts and Insurance and Legal Writing and Analysis. Ron is also lead trial counsel for the firm's pharmaceutical drug litigation department. Since becoming a lawyer in 1963, Ron has handled a wide variety of sophisticated litigation at both the trial and appellate levels.

Other Outstanding Achievements: Ron was the lead negotiator in obtaining the first official public apology by an airline in an airline crash. As a term of the final settlement, the president of Air Midwest agreed to and did publically apologize to all of the families who lost loved ones when Air Midwest Flight 5481 crashed after takeoff from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport on January 8, 2003, killing all on board.
