Profile

Mr. Anteau graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1962, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. He graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law in 1965, and was admitted to the Supreme Court of the United States on December 10, 1969, and to the United States Court of Military Appeal on December 11, 1969. Mr. Anteau concentrates his practice in Family Law matters, and he has been a Certified Specialist in Family Law (California Board of Legal Specialization) since July 15, 1980. He has also served as Judge Advocate General, and is a Lt. Commander, Ret., in the United States Naval Reserves. Mr. Anteau is a Fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, is one of only 38 Fellows of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in Los Angeles County, and is a Diplomate in the American College of Family Trial Lawyers. Since its inception in 1993, Mr. Anteau has been a member of the Disciplinary Proceedings/Peer Review Committee for Family Law Matters for the State Bar of California. Mr. Anteau also served on the Family Law Mediation Panel (1981-2005).
