Sam Edgerton is the founder of Edgerton & Weaver LLP, a boutique law firm specializing in securities litigation and securities regulation. B.A., cum laude, Boston University, 1978; J.D., Catholic University of America, 1982. From 1982-1986, he worked in the Office of Enforcement of the SEC in Los Angeles, California. From 1984-1986, he served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney (Criminal Division) in Los Angeles. Sam also served as Mayor of Hermosa Beach four times, having been elected to the City Council by popular vote in 1991, 1995, 1999, and 2003. Sam is a member of the State Bars of California, Massachusetts, New York, and the District of Columbia Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States.
