Scott's practice focuses on real estate and corporate transactions. In the real estate field, he handles purchase and sale transactions, joint ventures, real estate finance and commercial leasing matters. His corporate practice emphasizes mergers and acquisitions, private placements, entity formation and general corporate and partnership contracting matters. Prior to joining Clark & Trevithick in 2004, Scott practiced four years as in-house counsel for a publicly traded company. Scott graduated from UCLA in 1993 with a bachelor's degree in Political Science. He received his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 2000. Scott is also a Certified Public Accountant and worked for four years in the audit practice of a former "Big Five" accounting firm.
