Serge Tomassian is the managing partner of Tomassian, Throckmorton & Inouye LLP, an Irvine, California-based law firm focused on handling transactions and litigation involving real estate, construction and business law.
Practicing civil litigation since 1984, Mr. Tomassian has successfully represented clients in jury trials, bench trials, arbitrations and various other proceedings, and has recovered verdicts, settlements and arbitration awards in excess of $75 million. His experience and areas of expertise include construction claims and defects, real estate claims, litigation involving business law, employment law, entertainment law and breach of contract, fraud and non-disclosure issues. Mr. Tomassian has also handled a number of landslide-related damage claims, including current, high-profile cases involving clients affected by landslides in southern Orange County.
Mr. Tomassian is a graduate of the University of Southern California (B.A., 1979) and the University of the Pacific’s McGeorge School of Law (J.D., 1983). - As Plaintiffs counsel I have recovered through Trial (both jury and bench), Arbitration or Mediation in excess of $75,000,000 in damages. As Defense counsel-completely defensed against two large complex Real Esate/Construction matters with each matter involving claims in excess of $20,000,000. Have been mentioned in Daily Journal Verdicts and Settlements on many occasions with a recent settlements and verdicts in excess $4.5 million dollars. First ever jury verdict 2010 against the County of Orange for liability for a leaking and deteriorated Storm Drain.
