Since co-founding the appellate firm now known as Esner, Chang & Ellis in 1990, Stuart has had the privilege of working with many outstanding trial lawyers on well over 200 appellate matters, many involving cutting-edge legal issues, largely in the area of consumer rights. Since 1989, Stuart has been an adjunct Professor at Loyola Law School teaching appellate advocacy. He was named Appellate Lawyer of the Year by the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles for 2005, and has been named to the Super Lawyers list since 2005, and as one of the top 100 lawyers in Southern California the last two years.
