J. Kent Miller has 40 years of specialization in insurance and personal injury law in Colorado. After thirteen years in a Denver insurance defense firm (ten years as partner) he founded the plaintiff practice of Gerash, Robinson, Miller & Miranda. In 1987 he founded Miller & McCarren P.C. of which he is Of Counsel today. Mr. Miller now regularly provides expert witness and consultation services to other attorneys in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana and other jurisdictions. Such engagements include opinions on insurance coverage and expert witness opinions on insurance bad faith and legal malpractice together with testimony in state and federal courts as requested. His four-volume treatise, Colorado Personal Injury Practice - Torts & Insurance, 2nd (West Publishing, 2000) has been cited as authority by the Colorado Court of Appeals, the Colorado Supreme Court and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.
