Over the course of his career, John Husband has been involved in hundreds of employment related cases. He has extensive judicial and administrative experience and has tried cases in twenty states and been lead trial counsel in over 300 adversarial proceedings, trials, major arbitrations or administrative actions that have been tried to conclusion. Many of these cases have been precedent setting under Colorado and federal law. He has extensive class and collective action experience and has successfully defended nationwide claims for Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Husband counsels his wide variety of clients from Fortune 500 companies to small employers on a range of employment matters, including wrongful discharge, equal employment opportunity, trade secrets and covenants not to compete, wage and hour, privacy, disability, occupational safety, affirmative action and the law involving collective action, strikes, unions and collective bargaining. He assists companies to meet the challenges of the modern workplace by developing practical solutions to meet business needs and to maintain compliance with federal and state laws regulating the employment relationship.
Mr. Husband currently serves as the Chair of the Management Committee. He also served as the Chair of the firm's Labor Practice Group and was a member of the Management Committee.
