Kimberly R. Willoughby has been practicing law in Colorado for more than 18 years. She started the Willoughby Law Firm, LLC, in 1996 which became Willoughby & Eckelberry, LLC, in 2005. Ms. Willoughby limits her practice to the area of family law, including divorce, estate planning or bankruptcy assistance.

After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Colorado at Boulder, Ms. Willoughby received her law degree from the University of Virginia in 1994. She has published articles on the subjects of family relations, non-married partner litigation, nontraditional families and the legal protection of children in nontraditional families. She has conducted seminars on the subjects of probate litigation, family law, common law marriage and application of the law in nontraditional families.

Ms. Willoughby is a member of the family law and trusts and estates section of the Colorado Bar Association. She is also the founding member of the Colorado Parity Coalition. Ms. Willoughby is AV* rated by Martindale-Hubbell.
