Marc Kaplan is the principal member of Kaplan Law L.L.C., a four lawyer litigation firm concentrating on complex and high-conflict divorce and custody cases, legal malpractice representation and expert testimony, and appeals in both domestic relations and civil cases. Mr. Kaplan is a Board Certified Civil Trial Advocate by the National Board of Legal Specialty Certification, a Past President of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, a Past Vice President of the Colorado Bar Association, a past member of the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association, and a past member of the Executive Council of the Family Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association. Mr. Kaplan received his undergraduate degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University's Institute of Policy Sciences and Public Affairs, and his law degree from the University of Denver College of Law, where Mr. Kaplan won moort court and trial competitions in appellate and trial advocacy, as well as serving as teaching assistant for former Colorado Chief Justice Edward Pringle.  Mr. Kaplan has been selected as a one of the top 100 trial lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association, was selected as a Senior Counsel member of The College of Master Advocates and Barristers, and is listed in Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in America, and Who's Who in the World.  Mr. Kaplan has tought as an adjunct professor of law at the University of Denver College of Law, has been a frequent lecturer for legal education seminars and has appeared as a legal commentator on national and local television stations.  Mr. Kaplan has been honored as a Colorado Superlawyer since its inception in 2006.
