Judge Richard M. Borchers is the founder of Legal Resolution Center, a leading provider of mediation and arbitration services in the Rocky Mountain West. He served as a full-time U.S. magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado for eight years. Prior to his appointment, Borchers served as a district judge in the 17th Judicial District from 1984 to 1991. Since forming LRC in 1999, Borchers has mediated and arbitrated hundreds of civil cases, including commercial disputes, professional negligence, personal injury, and domestic issues. Borchers mediates multi-week trials involving personal injury, product liability, and commercial disputes.
