D’Amico, Griffin & Pettinicchi, LLC, is a boutique firm focused solely in two areas: plaintiffs’ personal injury including medical and nursing home negligence and products liability; and divorce and family law.

The Watertown, Conn., practice was founded 20 years ago by Michael D’Amico, Mark Griffin and Thomas P. Pettinicchi, who shared a common vision on the practice of law. “Our focus has always been on being the best lawyers we can be, holding ourselves to the highest ethical standards and making sure we provide the best representation that we can,” says D’Amico, who is board-certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and who serves on the Board of Governors, the Executive and the Medical Malpractice Committees of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association.

“Spending time with the family of a loved one who has died or with someone who’s been in a tragic accident allows us to understand what was and is important to them,” says Griffin, also included in this year’s Super Lawyers list and a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association for Justice and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. “By spending this time, we better understand the impact of their loss or injury. This is very helpful in trying to be the best advocate we can be for the family or person we’re representing.”
