John J. Kennedy, Jr., is a lifelong Connecticut resident. Born in New Haven, he graduated from Yale University in 1975 and received his law degree, with honors, from UCONN School of Law in 1978. Mr. Kennedy has practiced law in New Haven for over 31 years, representing thousands of clients and trying numerous civil cases in the courts of the State of Connecticut. His practice includes representation of injured persons in auto accidents, premises liability, and medical malpractice. Mr. Kennedy is a member of the New Haven County Bar Association and served as its President in 1991. He is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, has been on its board of governors since 1990, and is currently Vice President of the organization. Mr. Kennedy is also a member of ABOTA.
