Profile

Ms. Haakonsen's practice  in concentrated on divorce and family law.  She emphasizes alternate dispute resolution processes including mediation and collaborative divorce, although she is an experienced litigator, because she believes court is almost never the best forum for resolving family disputes and should be the last choice in most cases. Attorney Haakonsen has served in many forums, both court sponsored and private, as a mediator for settlement of divorce and custody cases for lawyers and their clients.
