Attorney Magnano focuses her practice in the area of family law representing clients in divorces, legal separations, support issues and child custody matters. Her practice includes both litigation and mediation. Attorney Magnano is licensed to practice law in both Connecticut and Massachusetts. Attorney Magnano is a member of several professional associations including the Hartford County Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association where she served as the Co-Chair of the Family Law Committee of the Young Lawyer’s Section from June 2006 through May 2010. As the Co-Chair of this Committee, Attorney Magnano co-chaired several seminars on family topics that featured some of Connecticut’s most prominent family law attorneys and most well-respected judges. In addition to co-chairing seminars, Attorney Magnano was also a speaker at the National Business Institute's seminar entitled "Handling Divorce Cases from Start to Finish". Attorney Magnano volunteers her time to the Court by volunteering as a Special Master for the Hartford Judicial District and the Tolland Judicial District. In that capacity, she assists parties seeking a resolution to their dissolution cases by acting as a mediator. Attorney Magnano was named to the Board of Directors for the Children’s Law Center of Connecticut.
