Attorney Girolamo graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English from the University of Connecticut. In 2001, Attorney Girolamo received her Juris Doctor, summa cum laude and ranked second in the evening class. She also received the American Jurisprudence award in Workers’ Compensation. Attorney Girolamo is admitted to practice in both the state and federal courts in Connecticut. She focuses her practice in the areas of family law and appellate law. In addition to arguing matters in the Superior Courts, including the Regional Family Trial Docket in Middletown, she has appeared and argued before the Connecticut Appellate Court and has several published decisions. Attorney Girolamo is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and a member of the CBA Family Law Executive Committee. In addition, in 2010, Attorney Girolamo was named as 1 of 5 Rising Stars to the CBA Family Law Section and she has previously served as the co-chair for the Young Lawyers Family Law Section of the Bar Association. Attorney Girolamo also serves as Special Master for the New Britain, Tolland and Hartford Judicial Districts. Attorney Girolamo also volunteers her time on the Children's Law Center Development Committee and to her children's PTO and PAC.
