Profile

Mr. Katz represents employers in a range of industries, defending discrimination and harassment suits and litigating restrictive covenant, breach of contract, business tort, and wage claims. Chair of the Firm's Employment and Labor Practice Group, he practices in state and federal courts, often as local counsel for national firms, and frequently appears before the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, the Department of Labor, and other administrative agencies. Mr. Katz also counsels employers on personnel-related matters. He has served on the faculty for the Connecticut Trial Advocacy Institute and as a mediator and arbitrator.
