Attorney Thomas R. Gerarde defends municipalities, boards of education, police officers, public officials, land use commissions, and non-profit organizations and institutions against all types of general and professional liability claims including civil rights claims. He is nationally Board Certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He has defended jury trials in all Connecticut state and federal courts and has argued appeals before the Connecticut Appellate Court, the Connecticut Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He graduated from Fairfield University (1978) and Suffolk University Law School (J.D., with honors, 1981).
