Since earning her Juris Doctor from the University of Florida and being admitted to the Florida bar in 2005, attorney Christine L. Derr has focused exclusively on family law matters. Working out of her Tampa firm, the Law Office of Christine L. Derr, P.A., Ms. Derr serves clients in Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties.
Known for her dedication to her clients and exceptional legal services, Ms. Derr was selected to Florida's Rising Stars in 2009 and 2010 by Super Lawyers magazine. Recently, she was honored by her peers in the Family Law Inn of Court with the Ted Millison Professionalism Award.
Not only is Ms. Derr recognized by her clients and colleagues for her hard work and accomplishments, but she has been actively involved with her community as president of the Hillsborough Association for Women Lawyers, president-elect of the Hillsborough County Family Law Section and a chairwoman for the mentoring committee for the Executive Council of the Family Law Inn of Tampa.
