Profile

Criminal defense and DUI attorney, Darren Finebloom, has extensive trial experience as a former public defender in Sarasota for the 12th Judicial Circuit of Florida. Mr. Finebloom personally represented clients charged with serious felonies and misdemeanors in both state and federal courts throughout the state of Florida, winning a significant number of his cases.

Mr. Finebloom has earned a reputation for providing skillful representation in a supportive, hands-on environment, defending cases involving DUI, drug possession, criminal traffic charges, battery, sexual assault, theft and other offenses. He is currently serving as president of the Sarasota Chapter of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and he is a member of the National College of DUI Defense, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Sarasota County Bar Association.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Finebloom is a regular lecturer on breath test and criminal defense issues throughout the state of Florida, and he has authored texts on best practices for lawyers representing clients accused of drug-related crimes.
