David Lichter is a partner at Higer, Lichter & Givner LLP. Over the last 26 years, he has litigated, mediated, and arbitrated a wide variety of business and securities disputes. Lichter is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell and is included in the 2008 edition of The Best Lawyers in America and 2008 Florida Trend magazine's Florida Legal Elite. He earned his B.A. degree with honors from Brandeis University in 1979 and his J.D. with honors from Georgetown University Law Center in 1982. Lichter previously served as a federal judicial law clerk, as an Assistant United States Attorney, and as a partner at a Miami litigation firm. He has published and lectured on alternative dispute resolution at the state and national level and has mediated more than 600 matters around the country.
