Dorothy J. McMichen, Esq., is a founding partner in the law firm of McMichen, Cinami & Demps in Orlando, Florida. She practices solely in marital and family law.

Ms. McMichen graduated with a law degree from the Holland Law Center at the University of Florida in 1983. She was admitted to the Florida Bar Association later that year and began work as a general practitioner with R. Patrick Phillips. In 1990, Ms. McMichen made her area of focus marital and family law. Soon after, in 1992, she became partner in the law firm of Phillips & McMichen, P.A.

In 1995, Ms. McMichen opened her own firm, Dorothy J. McMichen, P.A. Since then, she has expanded the firm to include attorneys Melanie M. Demps and Sonica Rhodes Cinami.

Ms. McMichen became board-certified in marital and family law in 2000. In 2004, she was recognized for exceptional pro bono service by the Supreme Court of Florida. She has been honored with Super Lawyers selections in 2008, 2009 and 2010.
