Ian Richard Leavengood is the managing shareholder of Leavengood, Nash, Dauval & Boyle, P.A., in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, he has a deep understanding of the community and its jurisdictionally specific laws.
Ian focuses his practice on business consumer litigation and on bankruptcy issues, including Chapter 7 liquidation and Chapter 13 reorganization. He combines innovative ideas, personalized strategy and hard work to meet the unique needs of each client.
After earning a master's degree in accounting from the University of Florida in 1995, Ian continued on to earn his J.D. in 2000. During that time, he acted as a judicial extern to the Honorable Justice Ben F. Overton at the Supreme Court of the State of Florida.
Ian is admitted to practice in the Florida Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition to his professional associations, he makes time for community involvement, including serving on the St. Petersburg Planning Committee from 2008 to 2010.
