J. Richard Caskey (Rich) is a Tampa attorney who practices primarily in the areas of estate and trust litigation and mediation. In practice, he assists families and fiduciaries with estate, trust, and probate matters, and handles all aspects of disputes that arise in those matters, including litigation, mediation and appeal.
Rich is a "Triple Gator," having earned his B.S. in accounting, MBA and J.D. with honors all from the University of Florida. A frequent lecturer and author, Rich is a member of the Florida Bar Probate Rules Committee and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law (RPPTL) Section's Executive Council. He currently serves as editor-in-chief of the Florida Bar RPPTL Section's ActionLine magazine. He is a past chairman of the Hillsborough County Bar Association's Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and of the HCBA Leadership Institute. In addition to serving his clients and the legal community as a whole, Rich serves on the board of directors of the MacDonald Training Center, a Tampa area organization dedicated to empowering people with developmental disabilities to lead the lives they choose.
