Attorney John Fraser Himes has been a practicing attorney for more than 40 years and has been a Florida Bar-certified expert in divorce practice for the past 25 years. Mr. Himes is partner in the firm Himes & Hearn, P.A., in Tampa, Florida, and primarily represents high-wealth individuals in divorce cases involving complex issues and large marital estates.

In addition to divorce cases involving tax, property distribution, valuation, marital misconduct, spousal support, alimony and child support, Mr. Himes has prepared numerous complex premarital and postnuptial agreements involving significant wealth. His clients have included entrepreneurs, doctors, professional athletes, sports team owners and professionals from other fields, as well as their spouses. He is particularly careful to maintain the highest degree of privacy consistent with the client’s expectations.

Mr. Himes' father and grandfather practiced law in Tampa before him, and all three generations have had the honor and distinction of serving as presidents of the Hillsborough County Bar Association. Mr. Himes holds the highest peer review rating (AV*) from Martindale Hubbell, is a member of the Family Law Rules Committee of The Florida Bar and has served as a master in the Family Law Inns of Court. He represents clients in many jurisdictions in Florida, including Tampa Bay, Miami, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Jacksonville.
