John H. Trevena has more than 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer. He earned his J.D. from Stetson University (1985) and his B.A. in Criminal Justice from the University of South Florida (1982). Attorney Trevena was admitted to The Florida Bar and U.S. District Court, Middle District of Florida, in 1986, and has been a Board Certified Criminal Trial Lawyer (Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education) since 1992. He is a member of the Clearwater, St. Petersburg and American Bar Associations, the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Life Member), NACDL (Life Member), the American Judicature Society, the Pinellas County Trial Lawyers Association (President, 2005), and the Pinellas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
