Profile

Joseph W. Fleece, III, is a founding partner of the law firm of BaskinFleece, Attorneys at Law. His primary area of practice is estate and trust litigation. He received his J.D. from Stetson University College of Law in 1980, and before opening his own practice was a partner with the law firm of Holland and Knight LLP.

Mr. Fleece is an active member both in his local and legal communities. In addition to his membership with the St. Petersburg and American Bar Associations, he currently serves on the Estate and Trust Litigation Committee and Executive Council of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of The Florida Bar Association. He is also a member of the Trial Lawyers section.

He currently serves as the chairman of the board of trustees for All Children's Hospital. His past affiliations include president of the Police Athletic League of St. Petersburg; trustee of the Canterbury School of Florida; commodore of the St. Petersburg Yacht Club; and board member of The Children's Dream Fund; American Red Cross, Tampa Bay Chapter; and the St. Petersburg YMCA.

As an AV-rated* attorney, he was selected for inclusion in the Florida Super Lawyers each year from 2008-2010.
