After over 30 years in criminal law in Florida, Mr. Sandefer is familiar with and has worked often with the Judges and prosecutors assigned to the criminal and civil courts. He is a former prosecutor where he acted as Lead Trial attorney and Division Director. After serving as an assistant state attorney for over 8 years he opened his own law office. Larry was one of the first attorneys in Florida to become Board Certified in criminal trial law by the Florida Bar. He has been recognized in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in America and is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. He has tried over 200 jury trials including over 20 murder trials, multi-jurisdictional drug and homicide conspiracies, drug trafficking, drug sales and possessions, sexual offenses and computer offenses, arson, white collar crimes, DUI, DUI Manslaughter, kidnapping, fraud, burglary, resisting arrest, aggravated battery, domestic violence, and all types of felonies and misdemeanors. As a division director at the state attorneys office he supervised and trained felony and misdemeanor trial attorneys and handled major cases. He has maintained his board certification since 1987.
