Leora Herrmann is Florida Bar Board Certified in Intellectual Property Law and serves as Co-Chair of The Florida Bar Intellectual Property Committee. In 2009-10, Leora served as Vice Chair of Publications for the Florida Bar Business Law Section and Editor of the Business Law Journal published by the Florida Bar. Before coming to Miami, Leora gained more than 25 years of experience with firms in the Northeast where she argued and won two IP cases before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and handled numerous complex IP litigations in the New York federal courts. Leora lectures frequently before law and other professional groups in Florida and other states. Leora concentrates her practice on complex IP litigation and IP licensing. Leora obtained a B.A. in linguistics from the University of California at Berkley with great distinction and received her J.D. degree from Yale Law School.
