Profile

Mark Bentley focuses his practice on land use, zoning, eminent domain, and governmental law.  Mark received his B.A. and M.A. degrees with honors from the University of Florida, and his J.D. with honors from Stetson University. Mark is Board Certified by The Florida Bar as an expert in City, County and Local Government Law, is AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, and in 1989 achieved membership in the American Planning Association's American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP). Mark is currently an adjunct professor at the University of South Florida for its Urban and Regional Planning Program, wherein he teaches land use law.  Mark has authored numerous articles and is a frequent speaker concerning the subjects of aviation, noise and billboard regulation and land use law. Mark also serves as a special master statewide for conflicts concerning the Florida Land Use and Environmental Dispute Resolution Act.
