Miriam has held numerous positions related to her practice area, including President of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, President of the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, Chair of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, Chair of The Florida Bar's Family Law Rules Committee, and Editor of the Family Law Commentator. Miriam is a Past President of The Athena Society, Inc. and Past President of the J. Clifford Cheatwood American Inn of Court. She is also a Diplomat of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell, and has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America.
