Phillip A. Baumann is the founder and principal of Phillip A. Baumann, P.A., a Florida estate planning law firm with offices in Tampa and Sun City Center. Mr. Baumann has practiced estate, trust and elder law for more than 30 years and was one of the first attorneys in the state to be certified as a specialist in the field of wills, trusts and estates by the Florida Bar Board of Legal Specialization and Education. In 2007, based on the confidential opinions of other attorneys, Florida Trend magazine named Mr. Baumann one of "Florida's Legal Elite." Mr. Baumann has also held an AV Preeminent* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell for many years, the highest such rating available.

Mr. Baumann is a 1978 graduate of George Washington University Law School. He is also a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and has been actively involved with several other legal associations throughout his career, holding leadership positions in the Florida Bar and the Tampa Bay Estate Planning Council and speaking or writing about estate-related topics for organizations such as the American Bar Association, the Bar Association of the City of New York and the National Business Institute.
