R. Hugh Lumpkin, born in San Tome, Venezuela, October 16, 1955, received his B.A. from Duke University in 1977 and his J.D. from the University of Miami in 1980. He is admitted to The Florida Bar; U.S. District Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida; U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit; and U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Lumpkin has written and lectured extensively on a variety of insurance coverage and insurance bad faith issues. His practice consists of representing policyholders in evaluating and litigating insurance claims filed in state and federal courts, including appellate courts.
