William A. Dean is the managing partner of the law firm Ford & Dean P.A., located in Aventura, Florida. As a plaintiff's trial attorney, Mr. Dean represents victims of nursing home and ALF abuse and neglect, medical malpractice, catastrophic accidents and sexual abuse.
Mr. Dean's successes have earned him several awards and honors. In addition to receiving an AV rating* from his peers, he is also a member of the Multimillion Dollar Advocates Forum, awarded to attorneys who have won multimillion dollar verdicts on behalf of their clients. Formerly selected for inclusion in the 2009 Florida Rising Stars, Mr. Dean was included in the 2010 and 2011 Florida Super Lawyers list. Florida Trend named him as one of the Florida Legal Elite in 2010 and 2011, and he is listed in the 2010 Top Up and Comers in the South Florida Legal Guide. Mr. Dean lectures nationally on nursing home litigation.
Mr. Dean graduated from the New York Law School with honors after completing undergraduate studies in History at Union College in Schenectady, New York. Mr. Dean is admitted to practice before the state of Florida, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the state of New York, the state of Georgia, and the Northern, Southern and Middle Districts of the U.S. District Court of Florida and the United States Supreme Court.
