Amy K. Waggoner is a founding partner of Waggoner Hastings LLC, an Alpharetta, Georgia, law firm providing family law and divorce-related legal services throughout the metro Atlanta region. As an attorney, Amy assists her clients with matters such as divorce, domestic partnership agreements and dissolutions, child custody and support issues, paternity and legitimation cases, and prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Amy holds an *AV Preeminent rating and is certified in the practice of collaborative law. She teaches "Collaborative Divorce" at Georgia State University College of Law and is a founding member of the Atlanta Collaborative Divorce Alliance. She regularly lectures on Collaborative Practice at continuing education events around the country. Amy serves as a guardian ad litem to protect the interests of children involved in contested custody matters and volunteers her time on behalf of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, assisting low-income litigants in domestic relations matters.
