Anthony C. (Tony) Kalka is a personal injury attorney and founder of the Atlanta-based Kalka & Baer, LLC. A dedicated trial lawyer, he represents victims of catastrophic injuries resulting from trucking accidents, motor vehicle accidents, unsafe products and premises, and railroad collisions.
Mr. Kalka received his law degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. Before opening his own practice in 2006, he worked for a large insurance defense firm representing insurance companies, trucking companies, automobile defendants and retail business establishments. Today, he uses the knowledge and experience gained from this representation to better serve his clients, those who have suffered due to the negligence of another.
In December 2009, Mr. Kalka was chosen by Georgia Trend magazine as one of Georgia's Legal Elite. He was also selected by his peers for inclusion on the Georgia Super Lawyers/Rising Stars list in 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012.
Mr. Kalka is co-chair of the North Metro Trial Lawyers Association as well as co-chair of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Annual Convention. He is a champion member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, serving on the New Member committee. He is also a member of the Lawyers Club of Atlanta, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Kalka is a regular volunteer of the Shepherd Center Grill Team.
