A partner of Krevolin & Horst LLC in Atlanta, Georgia, attorney Barbara H. Gallo represents business clients and local governments in matters of environmental law. She handles cases involving permitting and compliance issues, development and implementation of sustainable practices, climate change issues and other environmental concerns. She has also been instrumental in matters involving state environmental legislation.

Due to her extensive knowledge and experience in environmental law, Ms. Gallo is listed as one of the leading environmental lawyers by Chambers USA as well as in America's Leading Business Lawyers and in The Best Lawyers in America.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Gallo served in the environmental division of the Georgia Department of Law. As a senior assistant attorney general, she handled enforcement matters as well as assisted in drafting key legislation such as the Georgia Hazardous Site Response Act, commonly known as the State Superfund Law. She also worked with the Georgia Department of Agriculture on issues of pesticide regulation and other issues.

Ms. Gallo graduated magna cum laude from Cumberland School of Law and is actively involved in many organizations dedicated to environmental issues. She serves on the board of directors for the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership, the Georgia Urban Forest Council and St. Jude's Recovery Center. She is also a member of the Georgia Conservancy.
