Profile

Michael Abbott is a member of the State Bars of Georgia, Florida, and South Carolina. His practice continues to focus on representing individuals and corporations in White Collar Crime and Health Care matters. Mr. Abbott was formerly Chief of the White Collar Crime Division at the U.S. Attorney's Office in Atlanta and a professor at the Emory University School of Law. Mr. Abbott has argued before the U.S. Supreme Court in both a civil and a criminal case, including the landmark case of Fuentes v. Shevin. In addition to being listed in Georgia Super Lawyers, he has been previously named in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business.
