Profile

Charles H. Kuck is the managing partner of Kuck Immigration Partners LLC – The Immigration Law Firm. He manages one of the largest nationwide boutique immigration firms in the South, with offices in Atlanta and Charlotte. Dedicated exclusively to immigration law, the firm handles all aspects of business, family and removal-based immigration law.

Mr. Kuck also maintains an active federal court practice concentrating on immigration issues. His immigration litigation has resulted in seven precedent decisions published by the Federal District and Circuit Courts of Appeal. Among his clients are technology firms, automotive manufacturers, multinational corporations and individual investors and entrepreneurs, as well as immigrants and individuals seeking asylum.

Charles H. Kuck is the immediate past president of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He has served on that organization's National Executive Committee for seven years and its Board of Governors for six years. He previously served as chairman of the AILA's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service’s Headquarters Liaison Committee and chairman of the AILA's Consumer Protection Committee. He has also served on other national liaison committees for the AILA and is editor-in-chief of the AILA Litigation Toolbox, a hands-on approach to litigating immigration issues.

Mr. Kuck is a founding member of the Alliance of Business Immigration Lawyers (ABIL). He serves on the international board for the J. Rueben Clark Law Society and as president of the Board of Governors of the Georgia Asylum Immigration Network (GAIN). For seven years, he also served on the Board of Directors of the Latin American Association. Since 1999, he has taught both the introductory and advanced immigration law seminars at the University of Georgia School of Law as an adjunct professor of law.

Recognized for his commitment to professional excellence, Mr. Kuck is listed in the Best Lawyers in America, Chambers Global, the World's Leading Lawyers for Business, Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business and Strathmore's Who's Who. Further, he was chosen as "Georgia Lawyer of the Year" by La Vision Newspaper in 2004. He is a past recipient of AILA's Joseph D. Minsky Young Lawyer Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Practice of Immigration Law. In 2000, he was awarded the Pro Bono Award by Catholic Social Services. Moreover, he has been selected for inclusion in the Georgia Super Lawyers listing each year since 2004.

Charles H. Kuck has authored several articles on U.S. immigration law, has testified before Congress on immigration matters, and has spoken at legal, industry, business and civic organizations on a broad range of immigration topics. He is often quoted in the press and has appeared on numerous television and radio stations.
