He has defended more than 1,000 clients in federal, state and juvenile jurisdictions throughout the State of Georgia.  Mr. Abt's mission is to apply the most resourceful, aggressive strategies, working tirelessly for the best outcomes while maintaining the highest degree of integrity.

E. Jay Abt is an instructor and director for the annual seminar on the Recent Trends Involving Arrest, Search and Seizure in Georgia, hosted by Meds-PDN, teaching continuing legal education seminars.  He was selected for inclusion in Georgia Rising Stars for 2007, 2009 and 2010, and Superlawyers for 2011.

Mr. Abt is a member of the Georgia and Illinois Bars, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He graduated from Emory Law School in 1995 and was a candidate for law review at the Washington College of Law, American University. E.
