Profile

George W. Fryhofer III is a partner at Butler, Wooten & Fryhofer, LLP, an Atlanta and Columbus, Georgia, law firm with a nationwide practice focusing on personal injury and toxic torts litigation, class action lawsuits and business torts. Mr. Fryhofer’s practice focuses on plaintiffs personal injury litigation (involving motor vehicle accidents, defective or unreasonably dangerous products and various other causes), plaintiffs professional malpractice claims and business-related disputes, including torts such as fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, racketeering and tortious interference, as well as whistleblower cases.

Mr. Fryhofer has been a leader throughout his life and professional career. He is a summa cum laude graduate of both Emory University (B.A., 1980) and the University of Georgia Law School (J.D., 1983), where he also served as editor-in-chief of the school’s law review for the 1982-83 academic year. Mr. Fryhofer is also a published author, a frequent lecturer at legal seminars for various organizations and an active member of several professional associations, including the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
