Gerry Balboni is a partner of Krevolin & Horst LLC, a business and corporate law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate law, he represents growth companies and professionals in a variety of matters, including venture capital investment, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, technology licensing and other concerns.
Mr. Balboni is a well-known speaker and author on topics such as software licensing, acquisition of technology companies, venture capital, securities, taxation and controlling legal costs in corporate finance transactions. He is an active participant in several legal organizations, including the Atlanta Venture Forum, the Technology Alliance of Georgia and the Computer Law Association. After he graduated from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Mr. Balboni went on to obtain an M.B.A. from the Graduate School of Business of Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He received his law degree cum laude from the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
