Profile

Ms. Cole joined Schulten, Ward & Turner, LLP in 2007 to help form the firm's new environmental litigation section. Her practice areas include federal litigation and compliance under the Clean Water Act, the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, and the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act as well as state litigation and compliance under Georgia's Solid Waste Management Act, the Hazardous Site Response Act, and the Erosion and Sedimentation Act. Ms. Cole has developed an extensive practice in stormwater litigation representing private property owners affected by stormwater discharges from residential and commercial developments. She has successfully litigated cases before the Eleventh Circuit Federal Court of Appeals, the Federal District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
