James H. Webb Jr. is a founding partner of Webb, Wade, Taylor & Thompson, LLC, in Peachtree City, Georgia. Dedicated to seeking justice for those who have been wronged, he focuses on medical malpractice, personal injury and legal malpractice matters, practicing in state and federal trial and appellate courts.
Mr. Webb has been recognized for his experience and ability in the legal arena. He is one of the few attorneys in Georgia to become a board-certified civil trial advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy. He is also board-certified in medical negligence by the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys and is certified in mediation and arbitration.
Mr. Webb formerly served as chairman of the General Practice and Trial Section of the Georgia State Bar, which is composed of approximately 3,000 attorneys. Also, he is a longtime member of the state and national trial lawyers associations. In addition, he has extensively lectured and led seminars about medical malpractice and trial advocacy and was selected for inclusion in Georgia's Super Lawyer listing.
He has served as an instructor for the Florida Bar Trial Practice Seminar, president of the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Fayette County People's Law School and a member of the Governor's Task Force on DUI Prevention. Also, he served on the Georgia Bar Law Revision Committee.
James H. Webb Jr. served as a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971. He received his undergraduate degree from Georgia State University in 1972. In 1977, he received his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he graduated cum laude.
