Jo Meeks is a founding partner and managing partner of Pursley Lowery Meeks LLP in Atlanta. Her litigation practice focuses on the financial services industry -- business and customer disputes, insurance, banking and securities litigation, and financial/insurance industry professional liability defense. She regularly represents securities broker-dealers, registered representatives, banks, insurance companies and agents, registered investment advisers, and other financial industry companies and professionals in court and in arbitration. A former chair of the Atlanta Bar Association Litigation Section, Jo currently serves as a board member of the Atlanta Bar Foundation, as a Master with the Bleckley Inn of Court and as an arbitrator with FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority). She holds a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Georgia and graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1979.
