John A. Houghton is a civil trial attorney who began his career practicing with a nationally respected plaintiffs' firm in Atlanta which specialized in trucking litigation. His practice, The Houghton Law Firm, LLC focuses on injury and wrongful death litigation arising from motor carrier and commercial vehicle wrecks, as well as auto and premises liability matters. John was recently selected to serve as Co-Chairman of the Steering Committee for 'Walk Like M.A.D.D. Georgia' and is passionate about his volunteer work with Mothers Against Drunk Driving.  John is a member of Lawyers Club of Atlanta, and is active within GTLA where he serves on the Communications Committee.  He has also been listed in the Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers by Martindale-Hubbell, and was recently selected by The National Trial Lawyers as one of the Top 40 Under 40 trial lawyers practicing in the state of Georgia.
