Mr. Shelton's practice includes environmental litigation, with an emphasis on both traditional cost recovery and representation of plaintiffs in issues of environmental pollution, land use litigation, environmental compliance and Brownfields development assistance.  Mr Shelton has extensive experience in issues involving water pollution and water resources, solid and hazardous waste and natural resources issues although has practice encompasses all areas of environmental law.  He is a past Chair of the Georgia Environmental Law Section (2008).  He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the Georgia State University College of Law.  Mr. Shelton is a partner and the head of  the firm's environmental practice group.
