Bob Chestney has been practicing law since 1976, limiting his practice to DUI defense since 1992. He has handled well over 1,000 DUI cases, more than 100 jury trials, and several hundred bench trials. Less than ten percent of his contested cases have resulted in a DUI conviction. Since 1995, Bob has been recognized by Martindale-Hubbell with an AV rating, and is listed in their Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He has been a Georgia Super Lawyer every year since the program began. In addition to serving on the Board of Regents and faculty of the National College for DUI Defense held at Harvard Law School, he has lectured at DUI seminars all over the country. Bob was one of the first few lawyers in the country to become Board Certified by the National College for DUI Defense, and has maintained that distinction since 1999.
