He is president of the Forsyth County Bar Association and a member of the Georgia State Bar, the Atlanta Bar Association Family Division, Lanier Jaycees and Lanier Forsyth Rotary. An avid flyer and licensed private pilot, he also makes time to volunteer in his community, such as serving as an attorney coach for the Forsyth Central High School's mock trial team.
