T. Kevin Mooney is an Atlanta DUI attorney who has achieved admirable success over the past 20 years of practice. Drawing upon his prior experience as an assistant district prosecutor for the state of Georgia, he provides strategic and tenacious defense for his clients.
Mr. Mooney is a qualified practitioner in the administration of standardized field sobriety tests, a frequent speaker at legal associations and law enforcement agencies, and a former instructor at the Georgia State Police Academy.
Holding a rating of 10 ("Superb") from Avvo, he was also named "DUI Trial Lawyer of the Year" by the Georgia Defense of Drinking Driver's (DoDD) Group and listed in Atlanta Magazine as one of only six DUI Defense "Super Lawyers" for 2011. In addition, Merchant Circle awarded him the "Circle of Excellence."
Mr. Mooney earned his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law, where he was in the top 10 percent of graduates. He is currently a member of the National College for DUI Defense, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Rockdale County Bar Association, the Gwinnett County Bar Association, the DeKalb County Bar Association, the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals.
